La Rōz brings a rich background in bodywork and thoughtful care of pregnant and postpartum mothers while Dr. Shaena offers extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, intuitive practices, and integrative therapies. Recognizing shared passion and complementary skills, she was brought on board to expand our offerings and deepen our impact.

I earned my Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) and completed undergraduate studies at Bastyr University, with an emphasis on treating psycho-emotional conditions and trauma using the 8 Extraordinary Vessels Theory and 5 Element Theory under Dr. Mark Frost and Dr. Yvonne Farrell. Over the past five years, I have further deepened my practice with specialized training in Anthony Van Der Muhl's Orthopedic Acupuncture & Sports Medicine, Lonny Jarret's Integral 5 Element Theory, Facial Rejuvenation with Michelle Gellis, Cranial Sacral Therapy from The Lyons Institute, and Sajah Popham's Evolutionary Herbalism. I am also trained in various massage techniques, including Tui Na, Shiatsu, Thai, Swedish, and Lymphatic Drainage. My practice is deeply rooted in service and spirituality, shaped by years of involvement in community clinics such as the Women’s Resource Center, San Francisco Community Acupuncture Clinic, and GLIDE Community Acupuncture. I have also volunteered with programs like ROOTS Young Adult Shelter and the Harm Reduction Circle. I have undergone extensive training in various healing modalities, including Qi Gong from the Qi Dragon School, meditation from The Monroe Institute, Usui Reiki Healing from Northwest Healing Studio, Yoga Teacher Training from Lotus School of Yoga, and Shamanic studies at the Sundust Oracle Institute, where I studied Native American shamanism and intuitive development.

My long term goals as an LMT are to practice with infants, the elderly, current or past oncology patients, hospice care patients and animals.
